Dr. Weil's Healthy Kitchen Slow Cooker, 7 quart - Model 9801 by Spring Switzerland Just when you thought slow cooking couldn’t get any easier, Weil by Spring introduces a new cooker with 40 of Dr. Weil’s delicious recipes already pre-programmed into the machine. Now you don’t even need to look for a recipe, it is right in the machine! To view your choices you press the ON/OFF pad and after a brief welcoming screen you will see a screen with five categories of recipes that have been programmed into the machine. The hardest part of the whole process will be to decide which great recipe you want to make first. Once you have made your choice all you need to do is assemble the ingredients, place them into the ceramic container and you are on your way to a delicious healthy meal that your family will love. Of course if you would rather make your own recipe or one from a cookbook you can do that using the DIY (Do It Yourself) setting. Features: - Glass Cover
The transparent glass cover allows you to see the food, which eliminates the need to lift the coverto check on the progress of the recipe. This is important because lifting the cover during cooking will allow heat to escape and may affect cooking time. The cover fits perfectly to retain heat and moisture during cooking. - Removable Ceramic Container
The attractive 7-quart Ceramic Pot is removable and is designed to go directly to the table. It can also be used to store leftovers and is dishwasher safe for easy clean up. - Stainless Steel Body

The ON/ OFF pad – Pressing the ON pad once activates the machines pre-programmed screen. A message fills the screen welcoming you. That screen fades and you begin following the on screen instructions. Pressing the pad a second time after the welcome screen fades turns the machine off. CANCEL Pad – Pressing the cancel pad brings you back to the previous screen. UP/DOWN Pads – These pads are used to scroll up and down in the recipe menus and recipe ingredients, number of hours and choices of settings. ENTER – This pad is pressed when you are ready to move forward into the next menu or recipe. The prompt on the screen will tell you when it is time to press it. START – This pad is pressed when all the ingredients are in the cooker and you are ready to start the cooking. - Stay Cool Stainless Steel Loop Handles
The two loop handles make it possible for you to move the cooker easily without using pot holders and to carry the cooker to the table when the cooking is complete.
